Battiato l’ho sempre amato, poi si chiama Franco come me! Da ragazzino i suoi brani più noti li ascoltavo sempre divertito ed ammaliato da quello che poi ho capito essere un saper fare musica “pop” senza usare un linguaggio banale. Ora mi imbatto in questo testo che letto attentamente mi apre in due, mi divide.
Il me e l’altro me. Quello leggero e quello che se la prende con se stesso per l’inevitabilità di quello che è. La musica per me ha sempre coinciso con la vita, è la passione che mi rende schiavo.
E’ qui che ho sentito il mio battito cardiaco scuotersi, amplificarsi, che ti fa pensare e ti fa rendere conto di quanto è costato il mio “sacrificio” alle passioni, quindi alla vita.
Questo è forse il brano che meglio identifica il concetto di “CANTAUTORAVE”. Un ballo spastico che potrebbe rimandare a Jan Curtis, un rito elettrico che ti porta via. Le pulsazioni sono forti, il grido è soffocato tranne per il pensiero finale ripetuto come un mantra che vuole essere esorcizzante.
L’animale che porto dentro vuole anche essere felice.
